 okay this is a nothing burger cus im going insane - everything is driving me crazy and this is making me regret not getting an autism diagnosis - talking to my mum anymore will make me go insane - i keep  on getting asked if im going to the party tonight (WHICH I CANT) - and i am going to die if i cant get any nicotine - thank fuck i had shots for pudding tn or i would go insane

freedom and recapture

 i was free for a solid hour 😊 and it was beautiful 😌 it gave me enough willpower to socialise for an hour and get myself together 👽 part of this can be seen when i climbed on a digger (click this) 😝 went canyoning but it was actually kind of lame 😔 day 4 of no nic and im feeling better(ish) 😁 we got this guys ☝ i just wanna play pump man 💔 but the group played some card games and it was suprisingly nice 😁

i am now coming to terms with the depth of my smoking problem 😬 may have attempted to trade a yorkie for a cigarette 😓 but i got one in the end so all is well 😏 my body has started fully rejecting vodka and one shot makes me throw up - as found out at 2pm today 😅 then bailed on hanging out early to go arcade (unsure if thats good or bad) 😥 theeeeen at primrose hill i had japanese cigs and soju 😍 which was very nice 😝 also tried cigars for the first time but they kinda sucked 😑 but we ball. once again got no photos 💢 but i had a cig in a tree and felt performative 😔

horror games and dj sets

went to a mates dj set for a few hours which was fun (got no pictures as usual) 😊 not enough hardstyle for my tastes 😅 keeping up to date with chainsmoker cat (8/10) and then played a weird little horror game 😱 turns out it was a metaphor for something religous 😑 and it required a weird amount of duck hunt?

- First Day Back - Forward - named after my goats braid 😍 good midwestern emo and as close to second wave as you can really get - 8/10

- Frog - Grog - amazing rock + country album, possibly the one of the few good things ive gotten from the hell that is rym, whole album works suppeeer well together - 9/10 

- CAKE - Fashion Nugget - yeaaah this super wasnt for me (aside from distance by everyone loves that one) - 5/10

baked a cake deaf (and some other people being blind and mute) and it went genuinely horribly 😬 shit tons of flour and sugar got spilt by the blind dude aaaaalll over the floor 😭 had the consistency of a sludge and tasted rubbish 😅 in other news a random guy created the character of Charlie Belittle and made a groupchat full of random people and said we were his friends 😕 then just dissappeared

 - Arranged in April - Rooted in Desire - really good screamo (courtesy of theo), feels very second wave emo style screamo, in the best way possible - 8/10, one of my current favourites

 

- Have A Nice Life - Deathconsciousness - it truely is (for me) the peak of shoegaze - after 5 years of listening, it is my number 1 album oat - 10/10

- Braid - Frame & Canvas - easily my favourite second wave emo band, and my favourite album, cant reccomend enough - heartbreaking i can't go on friday 💔💔💔 - 8/10

the new shiftless episode was genuinely a masterpiece. obviously its not a great and philosophical journey that awakens the mind or something, but the camera work is actually pretty good and its easily the funniest one yet

- The Femcels - I Have To Get Hotter - very good indietronica! the variety between songs was really good, and i dont think ive heard much like it before - 7/10

 

- advantage lucy - ファンファーレ - great indie j-rock, super upbeat and definitely one of my current favourites - 8/10

Ska + Scouts

lowkey didnt really do anything today ☝luckily a very boring train ride was saved by a chudson album! 😄 then watched dogma which was pretty fun, and spent like 30 mins playing overwatch before my brother rudely interrupted me 😓 explorer meet up around the bonfire was a little boring but its always nice to see everyone again (shoutout carys) 😊 now time for ratings!

-    Chudson - The Future of Unemployment - Great ska album with a little bit of punk sprinkled in every once in a while, nothing particularly original but mixes the two genres very well - 8/10 would super recommend 

-    Chudson - Chudson 4 Kids - I was in a chudson mood today if you couldnt tell 😛 i can feel the ska draw me in more and more every day, but my love for emo never wavers - 7/10, pretty good, but i didnt like the special messages really 😥 the complete tonal shift at the end was cool but otherwise nothing special 😑
